these are the words uttered by john bilushi's character bluto in the classic animal house as their beloved fraternity house was being reposessed by the university.
bluto should have seen it coming but it never occured to him.  the campus rules were a seemingly elastic envelope to be pushed and pushed until fnally they took the whole fucking bar.  the days of delta house flying by night had officially come to an end and everything was now fucked.

and here we find ourselves rounding the home stretch of  mr. bush's great reign, we've got a war that has become america's second past time,  big shiny katrina under out belts, and an economy more limp wristed than andy dick.
but we keep chugging along hoping it'll get better. well you know what? it just got fucking worse!  we've sold budwieser to some belgians.
